On Wednesday night, four-star 2024 wide receiver Cam Williams announced his commitment live with his five finalist schools including Notre Dame, Iowa, Michigan, Cincinnati and Wisconsin.

Unfortunately for the Badgers, they were not able to flip the Glen Ellyn, Ill., native, and Williams went with his Crystal Ball predictions and committed to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. The No. 19-ranked receiver in the class of 2024 per 247Sports Composite would have been a huge pick-up for the Badgers, but it was a long shot with more passing-minded programs in his top five.
Losing Williams and 2024 QB target Lincoln Kienholz in one day is definitely defeating for Wisconsin’s recruiting, but the Badgers still have time to make a splash in the class of 2024.
