Wisconsin legend Jonathan Taylor was activated off the NFL PUP list on Wednesday after missing the Indianapolis Colts’ first four games of the season.
The former Badger has had an interesting few months, mostly revolving around his return from injury and a very public contract dispute with the Indianapolis Colts and owner Jim Irsay during training camp.
The Colts’ star is now healthy and ready to play. He discussed his return earlier today, saying “It feels really good to be healthy. The main goal was to be healthy and play football.”
He continued to note that “if somebody wasn’t committed, they wouldn’t be here,” seeming to infer that he is set to play the rest of this season despite not having a new contract offer from the Colts.
Taylor’s first game of the 2023 season will be this Sunday at 1 p.m. eastern when the Colts host the Tennessee Titans.
In his first public comments since June, Colts’ RB Jonathan Taylor told reporters: “It feels really good to be healthy. The main goal was to be healthy and play football.” Taylor is physically ready to play.
