After a road win at Michigan State where Wisconsin led the entire way, the Badgers are moving up the bracket in ESPN’s latest projections.
ESPN Bracketologist Joe Lunardi released a new bracket on Friday morning, and Wisconsin jumped from a No. 4 seed to a No. 3 seed. The Badgers sit at 10-3 in the Big Ten, and are currently tied with Illinois at the top of the conference standings. Wisconsin is 19-4 overall, and 10-2 at home.
In the latest ESPN bracket, Wisconsin was matched up with No. 14 seed Northern Iowa in a game that would be played in Milwaukee. Auburn, Gonzaga, Arizona, and Purdue were the No. 1 seeds. The Big 12, Big East, and Big Ten conferences all had seven teams in the field.
