Wisconsin football’s non-conference home dominance summed up in one stat

The Badgers have been dominant on their home field

Wisconsin football has created a fortress at Camp Randall Stadium, specifically in the non-conference slate. With the Badger faithful back in full force, UW continued their home dominance with a 34-7 win over Eastern Michigan this past Saturday.

In the postgame notes from Wisconsin, a stat that reflects the near perfection that the Badgers have had at home outside of the conference was included. Dating back to 2002, UW has won a stunning 48 out of 50 non-conference games. The last loss was a recent one, coming infamously in 2018 when the Badgers fell to BYU in a stunning upset.

The win over Eastern Michigan also gave Paul Chryst the full Michigan list of victims, as the Badger coach has now beaten all five FBS schools in the state of Michigan at least once.
