Wisconsin football offers promising class of 2026 defensive end

The Wisconsin Badgers extended an offer to fast-rising class of 2026 defensive end Tyson Bacon on Tuesday.

Bacon becomes the latest defensive fixture to receive a collegiate offer from Wisconsin, joining the Badgers’ recent offer to class of 2026 defensive lineman Damari Simeon.

Despite being a junior, Bacon already boasts a list of offers at this stage of his recruiting process. The impressive list includes Arkansas State, Georgia Tech, Jacksonville State, LSU, Tennessee, Troy, UAB, Washington and Wisconsin, per Rivals.

247Sports currently ranks the 6’4,” 240-pound lineman as the No. 58 player at his position and No. 18 prospect from Alabama.

As a three-sport athlete, Bacon presents quite the matchup problem for opposing linemen. He’s been noted to line up at both the edge and interior positions on the defensive line, illustrating his dexterity as a defensive game-wrecker at the high school level.

On3’s recruiting prediction machine has Tennessee (75.9%) as Bacon’s most likely destination thus far with Georgia Tech (6.0%), UAB (5.2%) and Mississippi State (4.3%) listed afterwards.

Wisconsin currently has one player committed to its class of 2026: three-star quarterback Jarrin Mock.
