Wisconsin basketball will face an ACC blue blood in round 1 of the NCAA Tournament

The Badgers end up on the 9-seed line

The Wisconsin Badgers are going dancing, but their road is anything but easy. After bowing out in the quarterfinal round of the Big Ten Tournament, the Badgers earned an at-large bid and ended up in the South Region.

Wisconsin is a 9-seed, and will face off against North Carolina in round one. The winner gets the South region’s top seed Baylor in round two.

Wisconsin and North Carolina will meet on day one of the Round of 64, which this year lands on a Friday.
