According to BetMGM, Wisconsin enters as a 3.5 point favorite to beat the Terrapins in round two. Sitting at 9-6 overall with a 3-6 Big Ten record, Maryland has been one of the strangest stories in college basketball. The record may not look impressive, but the conference wins sure are. Those three victories? At Wisconsin, at Illinois, and at Minnesota, who were all ranked opponents at the time.
This is the first time Wisconsin will see a repeat opponent all year, and the 12-4 Badgers get one of the squads that handed them an early conference loss.
