For the first time during this young season, Wisconsin made it into Joe Lunardi’s ESPN Bracketology.
The Badgers were included in Friday’s edition of Lunardi’s NCAA tournament projections after winning the 2021 Maui Invitational in surprising fashion.
Wisconsin won three games in three days to take home the trophy in Las Vegas last week, capping it off with a 61-55 win over Saint Mary’s.
The Badgers came in as a No. 10 seed, matching them up with Auburn in a hypothetical first round game. Lunardi had Wisconsin as one of his last four byes in the tournament field.
The Badgers will look to continue building their resume on Wednesday, when they visit Georgia Tech.
