After another undefeated week where the Badgers continued their six-game winning streak, Wisconsin basketball jumped up five spots to No. 8 in the latest Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll powered by USA TODAY Sports.
A new Big Ten team made its way into the latest poll, as Illinois jumped up seven spots from unranked to No 17. Michigan State dropped four spots to No. 13 after falling to Northwestern, while Ohio State dropped three spots to No. 18. Purdue was the only other Big Ten to rise in the latest poll one spot to No. 4.
The Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll top 10 for this week is Gonzaga(1), Auburn(2), Arizona(3), Purdue(4), Duke(5), Baylor(6), Kansas(7), Wisconsin(8), UCLA(9) and Houston(10).
The Badgers will face off next on the road against the Northwestern Wildcats on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. CST.
