Wisconsin basketball a top 3 seed as the Big Ten dominates ESPN’s latest Bracketology

The Badgers fall behind a pair of Big Ten squads in the latest ESPN bracket

In today’s ESPN Bracketology bracket released by ESPN’s Joe Lunardi, the Big Ten continued to dominate.

The conference lead the country with ten teams in, including Wisconsin, while the next closest conferences (Big 12/ACC) had only seven squads on the right side of the bubble.

Two of the four number one seeds came from the Big Ten, with Gonzaga and Baylor joining Michigan and Iowa on the top line. Wisconsin stayed as a No. 3 seed, this time projected to face Northeastern out of the Colonial in the first round.

Michigan state was among the last four in, while Maryland found themselves in the first four out. Wisconsin was the third-highest ranked team in the Big Ten, with Illinois falling down to a No. 5 seed after their home loss to Ohio State this past weekend.
