The Wisconsin football program has been branching out recently, sending offers to big-time players from states that aren’t usually associated with the Badgers.

Today that continued as Wisconsin offered Plano, Texas native 2022 four-star CB Terrance Brooks.

Brooks is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 287 player in the class of 2022, the No. 30 cornerback and the No. 37 recruit from his home state of Texas.

When the Badgers do go south to offer players like Brooks, they end up competing with some of the sport’s recruiting blue bloods on the player’s offer sheet. In this case some of those programs include Alabama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Texas, Texas A&M and Oregon.

And that isn’t even mentioning the Big Ten as Michigan, Penn State, Minnesota and Nebraska have all offered the cornerback.

QB Myles Burkett is the only player currently committed to Wisconsin’s class of 2022, though the program recently received a 247Sports crystal prediction for four-star in-state defensive end Isaac Hamm.
