Williams is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 362 player in the class of 2022, the No. 29 defensive tackle and the No. 8 recruit from his home state of Maryland.
Wisconsin becomes the fifth Big Ten team on the defensive tackle’s offer sheet, joining Penn State, Maryland, Michigan and Michigan State. The Nittany Lions are considered the leader to land Williams, with three crystal ball predictions choosing that outcome.

QB Myles Burkett is the only player currently committed to Wisconsin’s class of 2022, though the program recently received a 247Sports crystal prediction for four-star in-state defensive end Isaac Hamm.
