The Vikings have gotten off to a disappointing 2020 start, sitting at just 3-5.
There is hope, though, that the Vikings can make a run for the playoffs after winning two-straight games.
According to Cynthia Frelund’s analytical projection, not so fast.
Frelund has the Vikings finishing the 2020 season with just seven wins, likely out of the playoff picture.
She also thinks the Vikings will lose in Week 10 against the Bears in Chicago.
Here’s what she wrote about the Vikings:
My model projects Chicago to successfully defend its home field against Minnesota this coming Monday night, but after that, the Vikings have three very winnable home games. January football? Still not out of the question.
To round out the NFC North, the Packers are projected at 11.6 wins, the Bears are projected at 8.3 wins and the Lions are projected at 6.8 wins.
