Will Wisconsin QB Jack Coan stay in the Big Ten? A few landing spots could make sense

If Coan stays in the Big Ten, these destinations might make sense

With news this morning that Wisconsin quarterback Jack Coan has entered the transfer portal, teams in the Power Five will be knocking at his door.

With a year of eligibility left, the former Badger starter is ready to bounce back from a foot injury that sidelined him before the season began. In 2019, Coan led Wisconsin to a Rose Bowl appearance and Big Ten Championship appearance with 18 touchdowns and only five interceptions. He stepped up in clutch moments with a career performance at Minnesota to seal the Big Ten West title for Wisconsin.

While it’s all speculation this early in the process, there are Big Ten destinations for the New York native that make sense. Badger fans will definitely want the senior out of the conference, so they don’t have to root against him, but multiple programs could come calling.
