Will Muschamp has his own ideas on LSU’s visiting locker room

Tight spaces like the some of the visiting locker rooms across the country have become a concern during the coronavirus pandemic.

South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Will Muschamp holds the LSU football team he’s up against Saturday in a high regard, as he’s made clear all week.

“We’re looking forward to going to Baton Rouge on Saturday night against a very good LSU team,” he told reporters Monday . “I have a lot of respect for the team and the program having worked there before. Ed (Orgeron) has done an outstanding job, winning a national championship last year and did a fantastic job with that football team.”

But he doesn’t hold the same amount of respect for the team’s visiting locker room, which the Gamecocks will have to use this weekend.

In fact, Muschamp had some pretty strong words about the matter.

“The one we’re walking into this weekend (at LSU) is not really worth a damn either,” he said this week.

Tight locker rooms and tight spaces in general have become much more of a real concern, rather than just an annoying inconvenience, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

The Gamecocks will look to add to a win after an impressive victory over Auburn, while LSU will look to get back to the win column when the two teams kick off at 6 p.m. CT on Saturday in Baton Rouge.
