The St. Louis native started the season like a house on fire, determined to use his loss with the Celtics to the Golden State Warriors in the 2022 NBA Finals as motivation to get back to the league’s biggest stage to win it all.
But as the season wore on and nicks and dings and fatigue slowed him, the Duke native went from the top candidate for the 2023 Kia MVP award to a fringe contender.
