WIll Grant Williams get more minutes in Game 3 vs. the Miami Heat?

Or was his ‘poking the bear’ on Jimmy Butler a problem?

The Boston Celtics have put themselves in an 0-2 hole after losing 111-105 to the Miami Heat in Game 2 at TD Garden Friday night. One of the big highlights from the night was Grant Williams jawing back and forth with Jimmy Butler, who ended up cutting Boston’s lead with four straight buckets in the fourth quarter and cited the trash talk as motivation.

After falling out of the rotation inexplicably, Williams had a solid game and made the decision by coach Joe Mazzulla to not play him even more of a head-scratcher. Even after the Butler dust-up and “poking the bear”, is it clear that Williams deserves more minutes? Will Mazzulla realize and acknowledge that?

Join the hosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” Bobby Manning and Josue Pavon as they discuss the performance of Grant Williams and the aftermath of ticking off Jimmy Butler in the video embedded below.
