The Texas Longhorns defeated the Arizona State Sun Devil’s on Wednesday in Double-OT. They’ll go onto the College Football Playoff semifinals in Arlington, TX at AT&T Stadium.
If Jerry Jones loves anything more than his beloved Dallas Cowboys, it’s certainly having bigger and better things. AT&T Stadium, affectionately known as Jerry World, is no exception. Texas is known for its grandeur, and this stadium is no different. It’s massive, as everything in Texas tends to be.
The home of the Dallas Cowboys and the UIL State Championship has hosted the Longhorns three times in the past decade, including two Big 12 Championships and the UCLA game back in 2014. Surprisingly, Bevo, the beloved mascot of the Longhorns, was allowed to attend both games.
However, the spokesperson for the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic has clarified that the Cowboys have no influence on the game operations of the Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic. Regarding Bevo’s attendance, the spokesperson stated that they currently lack an answer and that it will be evaluated and determined once all logistics surrounding the game are finalized.
If history is any indicator of the future, it means that Bevo will for sure be in attendance at the College Football Playoff semifinal next Friday.
