When an NBA team wins a game by 50 or more points, it is a league-wide event it is such a rare occurrence, even in today’s scoring-happy Association. But what do we call the Boston Celtics’ trio of such games in one season? Their last such blowout, a historic win over the Golden State Warriors that provided a boatload of catharsis, put the NBA on notice it was so ferocious.
