This is WILD and predicted the Succession ending.

WARNING: SUCCESSION SPOILERS AHEAD! DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVEN’T WATCHED THE SERIES FINALE!

Ready?

Let’s go.

Names from Succession have always been a big part of the characters they belong to. I mean, we’ve been talking about how Shiv will shiv one of her brothers for a while, right?

And in the series finale, a name that we may not have thought about much with a sports background turned out to predict who would end up at the helm of Logan Roy’s company.

Tom’s last name is Wambsgans. Thanks to a video that’s making its way around the internet on Monday after the finale, it’s the perfect name for the man who is now CEO: Bill Wambsganss was a second baseman for Cleveland. Why is he famous beyond that?

Because he’s the only man to ever deliver an unassisted triple play in the World Series.

Triple play. Get it? YUP. WILD!
