Why is Boston’s Jaylen Brown still struggling as a primary playmaker?

Jaylen Brown still has some rough patches in need of attention even as he has grown his game, most notably when the Georgia native is relied on to be the primary playmaker

While his game has grown in many ways, some areas of concern remain for star Boston Celtics shooting guard Jaylen Brown. The most notable is when the Georgia native is relied on to be the primary playmaker for the Celtics when fellow star wing Jayson Tatum is not on the court.

He has had games when he has shined in that role, but he has also had more rough nights than not when asked to be more of a point-forward than his usual role as the team’s second source of offense after Tatum.

The hosts of the CLNS Media “Garden Report” podcast talked about Brown’s playmaking and how he might improve it in the near term.

Take a look at the clip embedded above to hear what they had to say.
