Why Caleb Williams paints his nails: The reason the NFL Draft QB prospect does it

Here’s why Caleb Williams paints his nails.

You may have noticed that USC QB Caleb Williams paints his nails, as he did before Trojans games and as he will reportedly do before the 2024 NFL Draft.

Some sports fans noticed Williams’ nails during his college football career, while others first caught a glimpse when he attended the women’s NCAA tournament back in March. And there’s a special reason behind why he paints his nails.

Here’s what he said about it in a video that you can see below: “It started three years ago, my last year of high school. My mom does nails, let’s just start it off there. She’s done it my whole life. It’s just kind of always been around me. Nobody else does it. I just kind of like to do new things. I don’t really care what people have to say about it.”

And also: He likes to do it! There’s no better reason that than!
