Who sat out of Sunday’s training camp practice for the Cardinals?

Five players did not participate in the open part of practice on Sunday. Were there some injuries?

The Arizona Cardinals, after a day off on Saturday, returned to the practice field at State Farm Stadium in training camp. However, not everyone participated.

Reporters in attendance during the open portion of practice noted who was not there.

It would appear a few had a day off.

Beachum, Peters and Jones most likely simply were given the day off.

Williams, though, missed a couple of practices in a row during the week, suggesting an injury of some sort. Hopkins also missed some practice last week with a minor hamstring issue. It could be he got the day off or the hamstring is still an issue.

Head coach Kliff Kingsbury did not speak with the media after practice on Sunday. Reporters will be able to ask him about those players Monday morning.
