Who did ESPN College GameDay pick in the Penn State-Ohio State game?

Keegan Michael-Key joins the ESPN College GameDay crew for picking today’s Penn State game.

You know it’s a big game when ESPN’s traveling roadshow makes a stop on your campus. With Penn State hosting Ohio State in a top-five Big Ten matchup, this week’s destination for ESPN College GameDay was a pretty obvious one. It’s always fun when GameDay sets up its show outside of Beaver Stadium, and they were not alone this week! Fox’s Big Noon Kickoff set up its pregame show on the other side of the Bryce Jordan Center, making for a big showcase outside the football stadium.

Desmond Howard kicked things off by taking Ohio State, which must hurt for the former Michigan Wolverine. Kirk Herbstreit also sided with the Buckeyes, which was to be expected perhaps.

Pat McAfee, who also did his radio show from Penn State’s campus on Friday, played to the home crowd by taking the Nittany Lions over the Buckeyes.

Former Alabama head coach Nick Saban, making his first visit to State College since coaching the Crimson Tide against Penn State in 2011, picked the Nittany Lions.

ESPN brought in noted Penn State alum and fan Keegan Michael-Key to be this week’s celebrity guest picker, so you know which way he was going to go with his pick on today’s game against the Buckeyes. He did not disappoint by taking Penn State

Lee Corso closed out the weekly picks segment by donning the mascot head of Brutus, Ohio State’s mascot. Corso has a history wearing the Ohio State mascot’s head, and he did so today with a “not so fast” for Michael-Key.

How will these picks hold up? We’re about to find out!
