LB Akeem Davis-Gaither | Appalachian State
Against some stiffer competition at the Senior Bowl, Akeem Davis-Gaither stood out, according to Draft Wire. He could be the type of linebacker who has pass rushing and coverage skills, as a potential replacement for Lorenzo Alexander’s role with Buffalo.
Here’s how Draft Wire described Davis-Gaither:
Similar to the running backs, it was a fairly uneventful week for the linebacker group. Davis-Gaither took full advantage of the lack of buzz from his counterparts, though, clearly separating himself from the rest of the pack with a solid week of practice. His athleticism, range and instincts make him one of the best sleeper picks in this year’s fairly thin linebacker class.
If the Raiders aren’t going to take Moses/Simmons, early in the Draft, they should go after App St LB Akeem Davis-Gaither. He played well against SEC comp last night in coverage, and showed he could get to the QB. pic.twitter.com/G8jp1pVFsC

CB Troy Pride, Jr. | Notre Dame
Troy Pride impressed during Senior Bowl practices then capped his week off with an interception in the game. Buffalo has Tre’Davious White, but shouldn’t settle if they think the No. 2 cornerback spot could be better. Pride could be a Day 2 pick at April’s draft.
Here’s how his game was broken down by Draft Wire:
The clear-cut top cover man in Mobile, Pride displayed a complete skill set that allowed him to win in many different ways, against receivers of all shapes and sizes. This year’s corner class is fairly top-heavy, but without a strong second and third tier. Pride could easily rise to the top of that next tier in this year’s group, putting himself in the Day 2 conversation with his play this week.
