Rutgers football received eight verbal commitments to their class of 2024, ranking them No. 32 in the country for their 2024 recruiting class, according to Rivals.com.

Athlete William Love, wide receiver Benjamin Black, defensive tackle Aaris Bethea, and defensive end Caden Brown are the top four trending recruits for the Scarlet Knights, according to Rivals.com.
William Love (ATH)
Athlete William Love from Camden, N.J. is one of the top 2024 recruits in New Jersey, according to Rivals.com. The 6-foot-4 210 pounds four-star recruit has visited Rutgers University five times, with his sixth visit scheduled for June 9. Love received several Power Five offers and has visited Penn State and Syracuse multiple times. According to Rivals.com, Love is ranked No. 4 in New Jersey and No. 29 in the nation amongst his recruiting class.

Benjamin Black (WR)
Wide receiver Benjamin Black from Charlotte, N.C. has been on Rutgers’ radar since he visited the school in April. Black has a visit scheduled with the Scarlet Knights for June 2 as Rutgers continues to pursue the 5-foot-11 165 pounds wide receiver. Black has received 19 total offers, with the Scarlet Knights being his only scheduled visit.
Aaris Bethea (DT)
The Scarlet Knights are targeting defensive tackle Aaris Bethea from Brooklyn, N.Y. to add to their 2024 recruiting class. The 6-foot-3 250 pounds defensive tackle has received nine offers from several Power Five schools. The three-star recruit visited Rutgers football in January, with a follow-up visit scheduled for June 9. Bethea’s visit will mark the sixth time on-campus for the prospect.

Caden Brown (DE)
Another defensive lineman on Rutgers’ radar for their 2024 class is defensive end, Caden Brown. Brown,, also from Brooklyn, has received 15 offers from multiple Power Five schools. According to Rivals.com, the three-star recruit is ranked fifth in New York amongst his recruiting class. The 6-foot-3 202 pounds defensive end has visited Rutgers six times, with his seventh visit scheduled for the weekend of June 9.
