The San Antonio Spurs set themselves up for years of success this summer with the selection of Victor Wembanyama as the first pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. The 19-year-old Frenchman is poised to be a franchise superstar for years to come, and he should be able to elevate the Spurs moving forward.
But the Spurs aren’t the only young team in the league. As they look to ascend to the top, other squads will be hoping to do the same. One of which, the Houston Rockets, shares a division with the Spurs. Both organizations are super young and will undoubtedly have high hopes over the course of the coming seasons.
