As things stand right now, the Pittsburgh Steelers are in the playoffs but have no idea where they will land in terms of seeding or who they will be playing. The remainder of the Week 17 games and Week 18 will answer all the questions about seeding but here are the four teams Pittsburgh could face.
Depending on whether Pittsburgh ends up the No. 3, No. 5 or No. 6 seed will determine their opponent. The Steelers finish the season against the Cincinnati Bengals and Cincinnati is still scrambling for a spot in the playoffs but as of now here are the potential showdowns.
If the Steelers can win the AFC North, they get a home playoff game against the Los Angeles Chargers. Any other scenario send the Steelers on the road to face either the Baltimore Ravens, Houston Texans or Buffalo Bills.
There are really two ways to look at this in terms of who we want the Steelers to play. First is getting that home game. The Steelers beat the Chargers in Pittsburgh back in Week 3, 20-10. We like the Steelers odds to get another win over Los Angeles at Acrisure.
If the Steelers have to go on the road, the Houston Texans are the only team we like the Steelers chances against. The Texans scenario would require the Steelers beat the Bengals and the Ravens would have to win over the Cleveland Browns as well.
