Which of the 58 prospects participating in 2020 NFL Draft broadcast have met with Chiefs?

A total of 13 prospects who will participate in the 2020 NFL Draft broadcast have met with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The NFL has announced the 58 prospects that will participate virtually in the broadcast of the 2020 NFL Draft. How exactly they’ll be participating in the broadcast remains to be seen. We know that EA Sports will be rendering a virtual moment of players meeting with the commissioner on stage, but beyond that, player involvement is still a mystery.

The Kansas City Chiefs have met with a total of 13 of the prospects invited to participate in the 2020 NFL Draft. It’s entirely possible that one of these players could be the choice for the Chiefs when they come on the clock to end the first round at pick No. 32.

Here’s a look at those 13 players and when they met with Kansas City:

  • Clemson CB A.J. Terrell – Combine formal
  • Minnesota DB Antoine Winfield Jr. – Pre-draft video chat
  • Ohio State RB J.K. Dobbins – Pre-draft video chat
  • Houston OT Josh Jones – Pre-draft video chat
  • Notre Dame DE Julian Okwara – Combine formal
  • LSU CB Kristian Fulton – Combine formal
  • Utah CB Jaylon Johnson – Combine formal
  • Auburn CB Noah Igbinoghene – Combine informal
  • Michigan LB Josh Uche – Combine formal
  • TCU WR Jalen Reagor – Combine formal
  • TCU DT Ross Blacklock – Combine informal
  • LSU LB Patrick Queen – Combine formal
  • Notre Dame WR Chase Claypool – Combine informal

Under general manager Brett Veach, the Chiefs have a history of adding players they’ve met during formal interviews and top-30 visits. Players like Juan Thornhill, Khalen Saunders, Derrick Nnadi and more all had pre-draft meetings with Kansas City. Video chatting is, of course, replacing top-30 visits due to the COVD-19 pandemic.

Keep in mind, these are only the prospects we’ve confirmed to have met with the team. It’s likely that several others from the group of 58 players invited the draft have met with the Chiefs in some capacity.

The 2020 NFL Draft will kick off with the first round on April 23.
