Detroit Lions — No. 2 Overall Pick
Wouldn’t it be awesome to see Kayvon Thibodeaux join Penei Sewell in Detroit? The Lions drafted Oregon’s legendary left tackle with the No. 7 overall pick in 2021, and could very well use their first-round pick to select another Duck this year.
Thibodeaux could be a blue-chip piece for the Lions defense to pick up, and you can guarantee that head coach Dan Campbell would love the fire that he brings to the team. However, you can also argue that there are bigger needs for Detroit to look at with such a valuable pick. While there are currently no quarterbacks who are a “must pick” at this spot, we will see over the next couple of months how that plays out. It will not at all be a shock to see the Lions sell themselves on some young signal-caller to take at No. 2. It wouldn’t be the first time.
