Which college team is most well-represented on Redskins roster?

The Washington Redskins have an affinity for drafting college teammates, as we’ve seen over the past few years.

Washington Redskins running back Derrius Guice tweeted the above message to all of his teammates this past weekend following the signing of undrafted free agent Thaddeus Moss, a TE from LSU.

Guice played at LSU in college as well, but when he came into the NFL and joined the Redskins, he was instantly thrown into enemy territory. There were alumni from the Alabama Crimson Tide every which way he looked.

This note got us thinking a little bit. As we start to enter the down-season in the NFL, we have the ability to look outside the box and find content in different areas. So why not start that trend here? If Guice was happy to have added not one, but two former LSU Tigers to the roster this season — LT Saahdiq Charles was drafted in the 4th round — who else might be taking stock of the roster and seeing where their team stacks up against the tide faithful? In other words, which other college teams are most well represented on the Redskins roster? We combed through it all, and this is what we came up with.

Note: Several teams had two players from a school, but few had three or more. We set the cut-off point at three.
