Which Cardinals players are not expected to play in opener?

A few starters will not likely get any action against the Broncos.

The Arizona Cardinals’ preseason opener kicks off at 7 p.m. Arizona time and many starters are expected to get some work. However, with pregame warmups, it would appear several players will sit out.

Who is not likely to play?

  • Quarterback Jeff Driskel was in street clothes.
  • Running back James Conner suited up but did not participate in pregame snaps with the first team.
  • Left tackle D.J. Humphries was dressed but was warming up with the third-team offensive line. Kelvin Beachum was at left tackle with the first team.
  • Running back Keaontay Ingram was not on the field.
  • Tight end Tret McBride was not on the field.
  • Linebacker BJ Ojulari was not on the field.
  • Linebacker Kyzir White suited up but did not get pregame snaps with the first-team defense.
