With the NFL regular season officially over and the early portion of the 2024 NFL draft order set, now the discussions can begin.
With USC Trojan quarterback Caleb Williams widely being viewed as the top pick for the entire season, the Chicago Bears are on the clock.
However, with Justin Fields on the roster, will the Bears take Williams? Will they trade down for a massive haul?
The Washington Commanders are second and the New England Patriots third. Both teams are in dire need of a quarterback, arguably more than the Bears.
The talks with other teams will be far and wide if Chicago sticks with Justin Fields. After the Bears traded away the top pick last year to the Carolina Panthers for a huge haul, they are in the position to do so again if they want to keep Fields.
If not, Caleb Williams to Chicago seems to be the pick, and this will be a huge discussion point for the next few months.
