Where the teams with Wisconsin alumni landed in the 2020 TBT bracket reveal

A look at former Badgers in TBT and their first round matchups

[lawrence-newsletter]Both teams in the 2020 TBT with Wisconsin alums on the roster are now officially in the final 24-team bracket. This morning, The Basketball Tournament, a $1 million dollar winner-take-all tournament that will see the 2020 edition held over just ten days in Columbus, Ohio, released the full bracket.

The Big Ten alumni squad known as “Big X” came in as the No. 9 overall seed.

Big X features former Badgers Kahlil Iverson, Vitto Brown, and Trevon Hughes. They will take on Jackson TN Underdawgs, a team that features natives of Jackson, Tennessee including former Arkansas standout Jaylen Barford.

Former Badger legend Ethan Happ will play for Team Hines, a squad lead by EuroLeague star Kyle Hines. Team Hines comes in as the No. 11 overall seed. Team Hines takes on Sideline Cancer in round one, a squad that is playing in honor of the Greg and Cathy Griffith Family Foundation.
