Where Michigan ranks in Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll after Ohio State win

With a win over the former No. 4 Buckeyes, how did the coaches see Michigan basketball in the rankings?

Michigan basketball survived its greatest test yet in the 2020-21 season, taking down a red-hot Ohio State team, in Columbus, just two games after having a three-week layoff due to COVID-19 issues within the athletic department.

As the Buckeyes were ranked No. 4 in the country, it was arguably the best win of any team in the entire college basketball season, which prompted some to wonder: could the Wolverines actually move up from No. 3? How would the latest Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll, powered by USA TODAY Sports, look after the win?

It turns out, no, the coaches still see Michigan as the same team it was before, and stayed at No. 3. OSU dropped to No. 5 after the loss, but the maize and blue still have two tough contests remaining: against No. 12 Iowa and No. 4 Illinois.

Michigan has already swept No. 24 Wisconsin this season.
