Where Michigan football opponents rank in latest Amway Coaches Poll

Where all the teams rank in the latest Amway Coaches Poll, with some highlighted emphasis on Michigan football’s 2020 opponents.

Michigan football was idle in Big Ten Week 7, with COVID-19 issues within the program forcing the cancellation of the Maryland game. Though there was no likelihood that a win vs. the Terrapins would have equaled the Wolverines being suddenly ranked, we regardless have a better picture of the college football landscape at large.

In the latest Amway Coaches Poll, powered by USA TODAY Sports, despite being 2-4 on the season, Michigan has only faced but two ranked teams — No. 9 Indiana and No. 25 Wisconsin. But the maize and blue, should The Game not be postponed, would face No. 4 Ohio State this upcoming Saturday in Columbus.
