Michigan basketball is set to embark upon its NCAA Tournament run as the 1-seed in the East Region, despite losing three of its last five games. Still, with one of the losses coming to fellow 1-seed Illinois and the other against Ohio State after losing Isaiah Livers to injury, it’s understandable that the Wolverines would falter a bit.
In the latest Ferris Mowers Coaches Poll, powered by USA TODAY Sports, Michigan remained at No. 4 overall, with a 20-4 record. In its bracket, however, the Wolverines may have to face No. 5 Alabama, No. 9 Texas, No. 14 Florida State, or No. 22 Colorado.
Here’s where each team ranks in the top 25.
