Where is ESPN’s College GameDay in Week 4?

Here’s where ESPN College GameDay will be for Week 4.

ESPN’s ‘College GameDay’ announced where it will be for Week 4 of the 2024 college football season. The GameDay crew will be in Norman for a top 15 showdown between the Tennessee Volunteers and the Oklahoma Sooners this Saturday, Sept. 21.

No. 13 Oklahoma’s game against No. 7 Tennessee will mark the Sooners’ first conference game since OU officially joined the SEC over the summer. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET. The game can be seen on ABC with ESPN/ABC’s No. 1 broadcast team of Chris Fowler (play-by-play), Kirk Herbstreit (analyst) and Holly Rowe (sideline).

It’s the third time in four weeks the GameDay crew will visit an SEC stadium, and the fourth straight week that an SEC team will be featured on college football’s premier pregame show. That’s hardly a surprise, given the league’s hyper-competitive schedule (and the wee little fact that ESPN agreed to pay a whopping $300 million a year for the rights to broadcast SEC games beginning in 2024).

A week ago, GameDay visited Columbia, S.C., for the LSU Tigers‘ game against the South Carolina Gamecocks at Williams-Brice Stadium. LSU rallied late for a 36-33 victory. ESPN picked that game over Georgia vs. Kentucky following the Wildcats’ 31-6 home loss to South Carolina. Boston College at Missouri and Alabama vs. Wisconsin in Madison were other possible GameDay destinations.

As for when or if Clemson could host ‘College GameDay’ this season? It’s a long way off, but for now at least, the Tigers’ best bet for a visit from Herbstreit, Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Lee Corso, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and company would appear to be their Nov. 2 home game against ACC rival Louisville.

The Cardinals are ranked No. 20, one spot below Clemson, in this week’s US LBM Coaches Poll and are 2-0 entering Week 4 with wins over Austin Peay and Jacksonville State. Louisville hosts Georgia Tech in the Cardinals’ ACC opener Saturday (3:30 p.m ET, ESPN2).

Clemson will host NC State Saturday at noon ET in Week 4. The game will be televised on ABC.
