Where ESPN’s College GameDay is headed for Week 4

ESPN’s College GameDay crew will take in the Oklahoma Sooners’ first SEC home matchup against Tennessee on Saturday.

ESPN’s College GameDay crew is making the trip to Norman, Oklahoma on Saturday to take in the first ever SEC game at Owen Field when the Oklahoma Sooners host the Tennessee Volunteers.

This is not only the first conference matchup for Oklahoma as a new member of the SEC, it is a return to Norman for Tennessee coach Josh Heupel, who led the Sooners to a national championship as a quarterback in 2000 and also served as an assistant coach there.

Tennessee and Oklahoma are both undefeated at 3-0, and both are in the hunt for a coveted spot in the 12-team College Football Playoff. The Vols kicked the teeth in of Kent State in Week 3, scoring 37 points in the first quarter and coasting to a 71-0 victory.

Oklahoma wasn’t nearly as dominant over a far better opponent in Tulane, although they did secure a comfortable 34-19 win.

The game is set to kick off at 7:30 PM ET on Saturday.
