Where does Michigan football rank in latest US LB Coaches Poll?

Big Ten play starts this week. #GoBlue

Michigan football entered Week 3 as the No. 2 team in the nation, but it certainly didn’t look like it. And perhaps it hasn’t looked like it to some degree all season to this point.

The maize and blue still beat Bowling Green, 31-6, but it was an ugly game, where the Wolverines committed mistake after mistake. The offense wasn’t humming and the defense was periodically getting gashed for big plays. A tenuous 14-6 pre-halftime lead felt like it would balloon, but Michigan had to give the ball back to the Falcons before the half, and then went three-and-out on the first possession of the third quarter.

It turns out that the bad game didn’t affect the Wolverines in the eyes of the coaches. Michigan football will enter Week 4 and Big Ten play ranked No. 2 still in the US LBM Coaches Poll. Ohio State is ranked No. 4 and Penn State is ranked No. 7.
