Texas A&M (10-2) played its first game without Wade Taylor IV and after a slow start, the Aggies ran away from the Houston Christian in a blowout 77-45 win last week.
It’s safe to say Coach Buzz Williams was not overly pleased with how his team played against a team they should have probably beaten by more. There were some markers that the Aggies did not hit especially in the first half. They could not get to the free-throw line early and seemed more like they were going through the motions. He got it corrected after halftime, but it was still concerning to see.
There was not a lot of movement in the top ten, but with Kentucky losing by 20 to Ohio State they dropped six spots to No. 10. Another surprise is Purdue that barely maintained their top 25 ranking dropping to the last spot after the loss to Auburn. The Aggies only had one game against a Quad 4 team and ended up dropping a few spots to No.13.
