Where are they now? The Class of 2010 in boys basketball

USA TODAY High School Sports revisits the boys basketball recruiting Class of 2010 and what its members achieved in college and the NBA in the subsequent decade.

Gorgui Dieng

School: Huntington Prep (West Virginia)
College: Louisville
NBA team: Minnesota Timberwolves
Noteworthy: Dieng didn’t play basketball until he was around 16 years old, according to The Ringer. He lived in Senegal at the time, and not long after he started, he and friends played in a 16U basketball tournament. Dieng was noticed by Amadou Gallo Fall, who was a VP for NBA Africa. With that, a basketball career began, as Dieng transferred to Huntington Prep and became a four-star prospect and then played three years at Louisville before being drafted by the Utah Jazz, who traded his draft rights to the Minnesota Timberwolves.
