Where are they now? The Class of 2010 in boys basketball

USA TODAY High School Sports revisits the boys basketball recruiting Class of 2010 and what its members achieved in college and the NBA in the subsequent decade.

Tony Snell

School: Westwind Prep (Phoenix)
College: New Mexico
NBA team:
Detroit Pistons
Noteworthy:
Snell was ranked No. 403 in the class coming out of high school. There clearly were not 402 players better. He had initially played at Martin Luther King (Riverside, California) alongside Kawhi Leonard, where Snell averaged 14 points, seven rebounds and four blocks per game as a junior. The following year Snell transferred to Windward and upped his averages to 19.5 points, 10 rebounds and 8.8 assists while combining for 4.5 steals plus blocks. He then spent three years at New Mexico, becoming a full-time starter sophomore year and then playing more than 30 minutes per game junior, before entering the NBA.
