When will Notre Dame’s spring game be?

Soon!

It’s a question Notre Dame fans have been asking as other programs nationally have announced their official spring football practice and scrimmage plans.

Now, according to Tim Prister of Irish Illustrated, it appears that Saturday, May 1, will be the day for the annual Blue-Gold Game.

My biggest concern with that is how will it be shown on NBC Sports as the first Saturday in May is usually reserved for wall-to-wall coverage of the Kentucky Derby.

Prister also mentions that spring drills are set to begin this Saturday, March 27, pushed back from the original date of March 24.

This spring will be an incredibly important spring for Notre Dame as the Irish started last year 10-0 before losses in the ACC Championship and College Football Playoff, and have starting positions to replace all over the field.
