In his own admission, Josh Allen did not do much against the Dallas Cowboys.
The Buffalo Bills (8-6) took a much needed 31-10 win over the Cowboys (10-4) in Week 15. In a rarity, Allen didn’t do much.
Allen finished with 94 yards on 15 pass attempts. Buffalo’s offense leaned on running back James Cook instead, who did catch a touchdown pass from Allen, but had another rushing score and 179 yards on the ground too.
“I felt like the kid that didn’t do anything in the class project but got an A,” Allen joked. “But again, I’ll do this 10 times out of 10 times, man.”
All in all, the Bills didn’t need more from Allen… and it’s been a long, long time since we can say that.
To see a win in which Allen had under 100 yards passing, we have to go all the way back to Allen’s rookie year in 2018. In an October win over the Tennessee Titans that season, Buffalo took the 13-12 win.
Allen only had 82 passing yards.
In fact, Allen had less rushing yards that game too. Only 19 as compared to 24 against the Cowboys.
A very rare win.
