What will it take for the Chicago Bulls front office to make changes?

How much does the Chicago Bulls front office have to see before they decide to blow up this core?

For the past three years, the Chicago Bulls have stood at every trade deadline. Their roster has remained almost entirely the same ever since they made a bunch of huge shake-ups in 2021. The Bulls committed to a core of Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan, and Nikola Vucevic, but since forming that group, the team has won just a single playoff game.

So far this season, despite the emergence of Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu as stars in the making, it’s been more of the same in Chicago. LaVine is still there, DeRozan is still there, and Vucevic is still there. And the team is still in the middle of the pack in the East.

The Chicago Bulls Central YouTube channel recently discussed how much more it will take for the front office to realize it’s time to break up this core.

Rumors have indicated that the Bulls plan to trade LaVine this summer, so that’s a start, but is it enough?
