What went wrong for the Boston Celtics when they played the Denver Nuggets at TD Garden earlier this week? Perhaps louder than anything else, the Celtics’ seeming inability to hit their free throws certainly played a major role, with Boston making just 16 of their 25 attempts at the free throw line.

Add in that star Celtics forward Jayson Tatum was the only Boston player who came to play with the requisite level of focus and energy needed against a ball club of the caliber of the Nuggets, and you’re starting to see the issues the Celtics did not attend to in the loss.

CLNS Media reporter Bobby Manning sat down with Denver Nuggets beat writer Matt Brooks on the latest episode of the “Garden Report” podcast to talk it over.
