What to know about new Cardinals WR Chris Moore

The Arizona Cardinals were busy last week in the first week of the new NFL league year and they made several new additions. One was signing former Tennessee Titans wide receiver Chris Moore to a one-year contract.

What is there to know about the new addition to the receiver room?

Titans Wire managing editor Mike Moraitis gives us a little info about Moore.

Moore was signed by the Titans as a depth piece but was often pushed into a bigger role thanks to the disappointments that were Treylon Burks and Kyle Philips. The veteran wideout finished third on the team in receiving yards (second among WRs) and proved to a big-play threat (19.3 yards per reception) while also showing an ability to win contested catches. Moore’s ceiling is a No. 3 option in the receivers room.

Moore caught 22 passes for 424 yards last season. He had at least one catch in 15 of 17 games but never had more than three in any game.

His most productive season was in 2022 for the Houston Texans. He had 48 catches for 548 yards and two touchdowns.

He would currently be the Cardinals’ No. 3 receiver if there are no more additions made to the receiver room this offseason.
