What Titans said after Week 17 win over Dolphins, clinching AFC South

The Titans are happy about their AFC South crown, but aren’t satisfied quite yet.

For the second consecutive year, the Tennessee Titans have won the AFC South title. Tennessee secured its division crown with a 34-3 win over the Miami Dolphins in Week 17.

This is the first time in the Titans era that the team has won back-to-back titles. and you’d have to go all the way back to 1960-62 for when the franchise last one back-to-back division titles (Houston Oilers, AFL).

But wait, there’s more…

With the win and a loss by the Kansas City Chiefs against the Cincinnati Bengals, the Titans are now just a Week 18 win over the Houston Texans away from clinching the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye.

After Sunday’s game, the Titans touched on a number of topics, including the potential return of running back Derrick Henry, the team clinching the AFC South, and the fact that Tennessee controls its own destiny for the No. 1 seed.

Find out what head coach Mike Vrabel and players had to say about all of those topics, right here, right now.
