It didn’t take long for the attention to shift to the Tennessee Titans’ upcoming matchup against the Buffalo Bills in Week 6. Wide receiver A.J. Brown was asked if the Titans’ win over the Jacksonville Jaguars would give them any momentum heading back home to face a 4-1 Bills squad.
“Whenever you get a division win, no matter what their record is in the NFL, it’s hard to win in the league,” Brown said following the Titans’ 37-19 victory over the Jaguars. “It gives us momentum. It gives us some confidence. We’ve got to go back and clean up the little stuff we didn’t do well on, but we’ve got a big game Monday night against Buffalo. They’re a good team.”
Brown was on a limited snap count, working his way back from a hamstring injury. Hopefully, he can run free while also getting fellow wideout Julio Jones back in the lineup against the Bills.
Despite the home-field advantage, this matchup figures to be the toughest for the Titans on the young season. Here’s what else the Titans are saying leading up to Monday’s game with the Bills.
